MANDALA
The circular mandala is a tantric meditation device, a visual aid for concentration and meditation that enables one to attain insights and the activation of “siddhi” or supernatural forces. The mandala is the graphic representation of this process. There are many types and varieties of mandalas depending on the nature of their central deity. The mandala represents a “Palace of Purity,” a magical sphere cleansed of all spiritual obstacles and impurities. The inner square of the “sacred palace” in which the central deity resides, is enclosed by multiple circles of flame, vajra (thunderbolt), and eight symmetrical lotus flowers.

マンダラ
マンダラは清浄の殿堂、夢のような領域、すべての精神的な障害物や不純なものの汚れをおとす。円形のマンダラはタントラ（独自の教典に基づくヒンズー教的または仏教的な密教）の瞑想の装置、集中と瞑想のための視覚的補助であり、人々が洞察力とsiddhiの促進と超自然力を得るためのものである。マンダラはこの過程の画像による表現である。中心になる神によって様々な型、種類がある。マンダラは清らかな宮殿、幻想的な世界はすべての精神的な障害物と汚れを清める。中心部の聖なる領域には主要な神々が住み、無数の円形の炎とvajiraヴァジラ（神が投げるとされる稲妻の矢）と、８個の左右対称の蓮の花に囲まれている。
