It was located at 31 Bond St. between Lafayette and Bowery in Manhattan. Kampo's world class Studio A was outfitted with state of the art technology including Pro Tools HD, Neve 1066 Mic Pre's, Telefunken and Neumann.

Mics, Genelec monitoring, a 2000 watt custom sub-woofer, vintage outboard gear, the Furman HDS-16 Cue System, and an upgrated SSL 4056+ console with Total Recall and Ultimation. Our upgrated SSL's sound is fatter, warmer and more tranceparent than any other SSL 4000 and it is now on sale in Japan along with some of the studio equipment.

Studio C was a Storyk-Walters designed 5.1 surround mix and overdub room featuring a Digidesign C24 console, Genelec monitoring , and a spacious vocal booth. The room had a wide array of vintage and modern outboard gear, and a professional mic selection.

Jimi Hendrix's Isle of Wight performance for the Blue Wild Angel DVD was remixed here by Eddie Kramer on the prevous console, on SSL Axiom MT.

In the following years, Pat Dillet was the usual resident engineer working with such clients as Mary J. Blige, They Might Be Giants, David Byrne, Laurie Anderson, Arto Lindsay and many others.
